It uses a dedicated AI chip that separates voices from background noise in real time, from any direction. Independent reviewers have consistently ranked it among the top hearing aids for understanding speech in noise. The EON builds on that same technology. Its improvements mainly make the hearing aid smaller and more efficient, not a different experience.
What "smaller" really means
You may see the EON described as 25% smaller. In real life, it is about 3 millimeters shorter, roughly the thickness of two stacked pennies, and 0.6 grams lighter, less than a paperclip. Both sit behind your ear with a thin wire to the ear canal, and once they are on, most people could not tell you which one they are wearing.

When the EON might be worth the extra cost
If having the smallest, lightest hearing aid possible is your top priority, or you spend a lot of time outdoors in wind, the EON is a nice step up. For everyone else, the Sphere Infinio gives you the same core experience and leaves about $1,700 in your pocket.
